Nude Chun-Li mod momentarily delays Street Fighter 6 tournament
A recent Street Fighter 6 tournament was momentarily impeded due to the use of an illicit mod — and we stress the word illicit here. The mod in question may not have provided an advantage for the tourneygoer playing as Chun-Li in the form of actual gameplay, but rather in the form of a distinctly distracting alternate costume… or lack thereof.
During the tournament’s second round in a match-up between Chun-Li and Kimberly, it was ahem, revealed that the tournament organizer forgot to disable their nude Chun-Li mod which saw Chun-Li taking on her opponent butt naked.

The nude Chun-Li mod clip was shared on Twitter/X by Nicholas De Orio. The clip features a few seconds of the nude Chun-Li and Kimberly approaching one another before the confused-sounding commentator states, “Um, yeah that’s a very interesting Chun-Li costume there,” while the other commentator erupts into laughter. The video then quickly cuts away from the nude Chun-Li mod footage to the tournament bracket.

Nude Chun-Li mods aside, Street Fighter 6 has been a striking success for Capcom. The popular fighting game has sold over 2 million units since its June 2nd release. According to its most recent earnings report, the sales success of Street Fighter 6, along with the Resident Evil 4 remake were the top performers for the company in its first fiscal quarter, elevating net sales up 74% year-on-year to $313 million.

Street Fighter 6 is now available on PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S, arcade and PC platforms.
In this article: capcom, street fighter 6 Written By RJNinja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
