Gorillaz Humanz
Gorillaz are back. After a three year hiatus, the cartoon collaboration of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewllet has been resurrected for a fifth album.
After many months of teasing fans, Hewllet - the animated group's visual artist - confirmed a return was on the cards via his Instagram account.
According to Revolt, he wrote in a comment only viewable by phone: "Yes. Gorillaz Returns."
The last Gorillaz album, The Fall, was released in 2011 — under the banner of the band's third phase: Escape to Plastic Beach.
Back in 2012, amidst rumours of a falling out between Albarn and Hewllett, it was thought the last of band had been seen.
Then Albarn told The Guardian future Gorillaz projects were "unlikely", but he progressively changed his tune — a year later he said there were plans for an eventual reunion, and then last year claimed "wouldn't mind having another stab at a Gorillaz record".

Added Oct 07, 2016A fan met up with Damon who revealed that Gorillaz had entered the final stage of production for the album. He apparently said "two weeks 'and then it's finished'".

Added Mar 21, 2017After the album track titles were leaked, someone simply Google'd the titles and found a private Vimeo account listing some of the songs. It looks like a Reddit Gorillaz fan actually cracked the password (by simply guessing) and manage to download the songs. Reddit has so far been able to contain the leak but it might show up somewhere else. Together with the snippets and the demos also being reported as leaked, a full album download might be around the corner.
Has it Leaked does not allow download links, but we will report if there's a full album download, illegally leaked in advance. Gorillaz has yet to comment.

Added Mar 22, 2017The All Eyez on Gorillaz YouTube channel recently added an audio clip from BBC Radio 1 in which it is announced that a new, unspecified track shall be played tomorrow at 7:30 PM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). We have yet to know what the track is entitled or whether there will be an album announcement coinciding with the transmission.

Word of warning – There is an incomplete leak out there with the 7 songs – All leaked from the Vimeo account – and some snippets, including a (allegedly) demo version of Popcaan. This is not the full thing, and isn’t even close to being the full thing. So hold off on reporting this for now.
All of the videos were some guy’s stage lightning-demos, uploaded weeks ago, so we have no idea if ANY of the songs including the snippets were “done” by that time. At least not when it comes to mixing, it sounds kinda messy.
I really wish artists would just give us release dates again, this whole mysterious release-thing isn’t fun anymore. I hate it.

Andromeda is an incredible track, Saturnz Barz was pretty good as well . Interesting if there will be any other singles? I mean 4 tracks is already a lot. Yeah, “Let Me Go” is appearently dropping this week! With Pusha T and something something Staples! let me out should be ;] Dropping in like 4 hours!For anyone that can’t wait, there is a live version out there of the entire album, since they had a show a couple of weeks ago where they played through it. It’s not perfect quality, but you get to hear all of the songs. I saw incomplete videos on youtube or there’s a complete audio version on pirate bay
Yeah. But be warned, the songs barely sound anything like the studio versions. At lest “Let me out” sounds different
I can’t say that I like any of the new tracks. I was hoping for a return to style after the disappointing ‘Plastic Beach’. I guess I shouldn’t complain though… at least we got a killer BLUR album 2 years back.

If you have a copy of the tinny sounding leak. Apply the RIAA curve (google it) to your equalizer and it will correct the tinny effect.
It’s already up on some torrent sites.The leak is a rip of the vinyl version. Sound quality is average, very bright and lacking bass. Only worth it if you really can’t wait to listen to the songs.
Also when it get’s to the song Submission there is a low frequency noise constantly going in the background that’s pretty distracting (there is also a bad audio glitch in the same song that’s pretty grating). It starts from that song and ends in the middle of Andromeda.
Ugh, why did this one have to leak. Now I have to work so hard not to listen to it the next 8 daysIf it makes it easier this vinyl rip kinda sounds like doodoo. If you really want your first listen to be perfect that should be enough reason to wait at until a better leak comes out at least.
Tomorrow the streaming version will be on through the official app so a much better quality will leak through this very weekend!!

Anyone know if there’s a CD rip out there yet? no links obviously just wanna know if one exists. There is not. There is! It’s 128kbps thoI can deal with 128kbps as long as it doesnt have all of the audio problems the Vinyl rip has. ill look for it, thanks!
There’s a digital version on thepiratebay. Much better quality.This has to be the first record in HISTORY that I haven’t listened to before the actual release date. 3 days to go, woo! Oh, and “The Apprentice” is dope AF.
