Bible Craft Ideas on the Temptation of Christ in the Desert from Luke 4:1-13

Nothing Defeats Scripture! Craft Ideas for The Temptation of Christ. There will always be times in our lives when we might want to do what we shouldn’t, but God equips us with what we need to stand strong. When we know we have Jesus on our side, anything is possible! He has faced temptation and defeated Satan, and promises to be with us when temptation to sin strikes. These crafts celebrate that God’s Word is the best way to fight off harmful urges. A “Sword of the Spirit Sheath” serves as a Bible carrier. A “Stick Close to Christ Shield” incorporates a pop-up image as a reminder that nothing keeps us down when Jesus backs us!

Bible Verses or Craft Captions to Consider… (Main Text: Luke 4:1-13)

And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’” -Luke 4:4

And Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” -Luke 4:12

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:15-16
